How can you remove water from AirPods?
Before we use any water shortcut or other way, Apple has recommended that you use a microfiber towel to dry your AirPods along with the charging case. After that, you should keep the airpods upside down on the towel for at least four hours before restocking them into the charging case.

- Store the airpods in a dry location after towelling them dry and do not use them for a couple of days. This is done because if you open them before they are completely dried then, it can cause some serious damage to the AirPods.
- You can also use a blow dryer to speed up the process and get all the water out of the Airpods. Using cotton swabs will also help you if you think that there is still some water outside the Airpods or in the charging case.
What to do if they are still not working?
In most cases, after you completely dry your Airpods and charging case and take out all the water using water eject Airpods, your airpods will start to function properly in some time. However in some cases, if the water has affected your AirPods too much they will not open and you will not be able to use them. Sometimes, you may find that the sound quality of the Airpods is compromised and they are not working as brilliantly as they used to do. If the Airpods are not working fine and are causing trouble for you, you have no choice but to buy new ones for you as they are no longer in the best condition. On the other hand, you may find that after water eject iPhone, your Charging case is still working, so you do not need to buy a new charging case. Make sure that you keep your Airpods and charging case safe as they are very important for an iOS device.
